About the Role:
Mollie Stone's Markets is looking for a hands-on Financial Analyst that will assist with driving the financial objectives of the organization. General responsibilities will include maintaining key management reports, assisting with the period end close process, and providing operational and financial analyses to support the company's strategic plan. This is a full-time, hourly position working from our Corporate Offices in Mill Valley, CA. Local Candidates only.
Essential Functions: Provides reporting to management by extracting, compiling and analyzing data and ad hoc reports in a meaningful way Analyze results, monitors variances and trends to help identify issues Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement by performing root cause analysis which includes analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis. Increases productivity by developing automated reporting. Collaborates with other department supervisors to assist and resolve finance related issues. Establishes and maintain a database of relevant financial information for use in historical analysis and forecasting Generate reports on a regularly scheduled and ad hoc basis to support business initiatives Perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in an FP&A role with clear experience managing financial analysis projects with minimal guidance Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field required Advanced Excel skills required Preferred Qualifications: Financial Software, Data Warehouse Software or other predictive analysis and data visualization applications Operational/Labor Platforms Experience, i.e.: Food Storm, Dayforce by Ceridian, BR Data, FMS, etc. Competencies: Strong critical thinking skills. Ability to think strategically to achieve organizational goals Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of the organization, Ability to take the initiative. Undertakes self-development activities and seek increased responsibilities. Able to ask for and offers help when needed. Strong Organizational skills. Able to prioritize and plan work activities while using time efficiently Actively looks for efficiencies in their own responsibilities and the department's deliverables Exceptional written and oral communication and attention to detail Physical Requirements: Must be able to regularly lift at least 10 lbs. Standing: Up to 2 hours per day Seating: Up to 8 hours per day. Walking: Up to 2 hours per day. Reaching: Up to 2 hours per day Please be aware that you may be required to wear Covid-19 related PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as mandated by Company Policy. Travel Requirements: Independent and reliable local travel up to 10% of the time. Pay range: $75,000 to $85,000 per year
