This position will allow telecommuting part of the time but will be subject to change depending upon project and meeting schedules.
Provide financial analysis for Hill Physicians Medical Group to support health plan negotiations, physician compensation proposals, understanding of revenue and cost trends, strategic growth and expansion opportunities, and all Hill Physicians' projects and initiatives expected to have a financial impact. Assure that critical issues are appropriately escalated and addressed to fulfill Financial Services' role relative to fiduciary responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities Manage projects with an impact on financial performanceWork with clients to define and frame business problems affecting financial performance; develop analytical approaches, action plans, recommendations and timeframes to support decision-makingProvide products and services that meet the clients' analytical needs and that maximize client satisfactionApply consistent analytical standards, appropriate analytical study design and identification of decision alternatives through the proper framing of project questions, strategic thinking and interpretation of results on financial analysesUse the best financial analysis practices and tools in the production of high quality productsWork closely with Clinical Analysis and Software Development to define data extraction requirementsProvide support as needed for organizing occasional departmental social events Required Experience Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience required3 - 6 years of experience in financial analysis required; healthcare experience desiredAbility to determine key business issues and develop plansExperience managing projects and developing recommendations with appropriate levels of supporting analysisExcellent skills in complex analytical problem solving, forecasting and project managementExcellent skills in financial, statistical, reporting/pricing theories and other analytical disciplines and the ability to utilize them for practical applicationsExcellent written, verbal and presentation skills that present complex technical concepts in a clear, concise mannerExcellent Microsoft Excel skills; proficient in other Microsoft software and analytical software products Required Education Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in business or healthcare management desiredAdditional Information Hill Physicians is an Equal Opportunity Employer
