Description
Our client is hiring a
Finance Planning Manager
to support the Engineering and Capital Projects area. This position will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning and decision -making process between finance and the Engineering/ capital projects department and all business support areas. The ideal candidate requires a strong background in financial analysis, leadership skills and the ability to drive strategic decision -making. Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop a team of financial analysts.
Responsibilities:
Oversee financial management and accounting, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Supervise and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Prepare and analyze financial reports related to capital projects, providing insights and recommendations for efficiency and compliance.
Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decision-making and optimize grant management processes.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators for grant-related activities.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports for grants and reimbursements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.
Prepare and present executive-level reports to senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred.
8 plus years of proven financial analysis experience
Previous leadership experience
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis and Microsoft excel
Fully bilingual
