Are you looking for a Financial Services Representative Job Summary An investment analyst supports the Wealth Management and Financial Planning practice by analyzing the stock market and investment portfolios.
Responsibilities and Duties Make bids or offers to buy or sell securities.
Agree on buying or selling prices at optimal levels for clients.
Negotiate prices or contracts for securities or commodities sales or purchases Track and analyze factors that affect price movement, such as trade policies, weather conditions, political developments, or supply and demand changes.
Keep accurate records of transactions.
Buy or sell stocks, bonds, commodity futures, foreign currencies, or other securities on behalf of investment dealers.
Sell services or equipment, such as trusts, investments, or check processing services.
Purchase or sell financial derivatives for customers.
Report all positions or trading results.
Prepare financial reports to monitor client or corporate finances.
Complete sales order tickets and submit for processing of client-requested transactions.
Interview clients to determine clients & apos assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance coverage, tax status, or financial objectives.
Determine customers & apos financial services needs and prepare proposals to sell services that address these needs.
Discuss financial options with clients and keep them informed about transactions.
Offer advice on the purchase or sale of particular securities.
Explain stock market terms or trading practices to clients.
Supply the latest price quotes on any security, as well as information on the activities or financial positions of the corporations issuing these securities.
Calculate costs for billings or commissions.
Contact prospective customers to present information and explain available services Inform other traders, managers, or customers of market conditions, including volume, price, competition, or dynamics.
Qualifications and Skills BBA in Finance with an emphasis on investment analysis and experience in financial services, insurance or business development is beneficial but not required.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
Handle compliance aspects regarding investment account management.
Actively research and communicate with whole-salers of investment products available through the affiliated RIA/BD, as well as identify new investment strategies, based on the needs of each client.
Prepare stock market analysis and investment portfolios of clients and/or prospects using the Morningstar platform.
Monitor and manage investment portfolios developed internally under "Prinvest Portfolios", as well as the portfolios we use as a "benchmark" and alternative options, such as BlackRock or Cetera Investment Management, among others.
Assist in communications and reports for clients and/or prospects.
Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service oriented.
Preferably bilingual and with general computer application skills such as: Microsoft Office.
