Position Summary: The Fiscal Analyst supports in the financial planning and analysis, coordinates compilation of statistical data to measure and produce meaningful financial reports. The Analyst ensures that contract and grant billings are submitted accurately and timely. The Finance Analyst supports the CFO and Senior Director and works under the supervision of the contract fiscal manager.
Responsibilities: 50% Financial Planning and Risk ManagementAssists the CFO in the annual budget planning cycle [March-May].Assists in monthly financial report preparations.Compiles statistical data and units of services to measure financial performances.Tracks commercial and general liability insurance and maintains a roll-forward schedule.Maintains and updates third-party contracts including memo of understanding and agreements.Coordinates with insurance brokers on timely renewal and issuance of CoI as a requirement of contractual obligations.Responsibilities: 50% Contracts Fiscal ManagementSubmits accurate and timely billings to government contracts and private grant funding agencies by the 15th of each month.Updates FTE tracking and grant/contract matrix.Monitors expenses and tracks against authorized spending and budgetary line items.Validates service units, statistics and metrics collaborating with program managers by the 5th of the month to meet monthly revenue goals.Processes billing entries onto Intacct Accounting.Collates and compiles documentation supporting billing requirements.Coordinates and collaborates with other internal teams, including the finance/accounting-billing, program, and development departments.Carries out any additional assignments required to fulfill GLIDE's funding opportunities, monitor grant and contract budgets, reporting dates, and renewal dates for all of grants and contracts.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree preferably in business administration, finance or economics, preferably accounting.Expertise in excel, graphs, tables and visual presentations.Must be able to read and understand the basic principles of obligations, contracts, basic accounting concepts and government audits.Exceptionally motivated, organized and detail-oriented, mathematical and budget planning proficiency.Proven ability to track and manage several projects and assignments simultaneously and meeting deadlines.Highly effective oral and written communicator can adapt to a wide range of circumstances and situations.Ability to work both under supervision and independently.Professionalism, discretion, high-level of accuracy and embraces ONE GLIDE philosophy.$75,000 - $85,000 a year
This is a non-exempt position and is covered by the collective bargaining agreement.
