THE ROLE Working as part of the global research team, develop investment recommendations within assigned US investment grade credit sectors for fixed income strategies managed by MFS.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Work and collaborate as part of the global fixed income investment department, developing specific investment recommendations for use by portfolio managers.Conduct deep fundamental independent research using sources such as company literature and financial statements, various business publications, and other external sources.Maintain ongoing coverage of assigned industry sectors and highlight investment opportunities using written notes and participation in meetings and discussions with other analysts and portfolio managers.Act as the in-house expert on designated areas of concentration.Perform additional duties as directed.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Master's of Business Administration and/or CFA charterholder preferred.Minimum 7 years industry experience – sell side or buy side, financials or industrials coverage.Ability to work independently, using research, analysis, and communication skills.#LI-HYBRID
