Lead workflows that will drive strategic decision making for our Turnaround & Restructuring, Performance Improvement, and Transaction Services sub-practice areas within the Corporate Finance practiceWork with Corporate Finance leadership to drive strategy, growth, and resultsDrive management reporting, financial analysis, and other business-unit/practice-level analysis and reporting requirementsDevelop and drive business development and operational initiativesPrioritize and execute business development efforts centered around identifying new referral sources while equally strengthening existing relationshipsQuarterback client proposals and presentations to increase and improve brand awareness in key market segmentsSupport other client- and engagement-related activities (e.g., engagement letters)QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree or degree equivalent in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related field;5-10 years of work experience, ideally in a consulting or professional services environment;Highly successful candidates will exhibit the following traits:Works or comes from a high-paced, dynamic, and demanding environmentFormer consultants wanting to transition from client-service to internal strategy roleFormer Investment Bankers looking for more flexibility and work-life balanceStrong executive presence and high emotional intelligence to work with the most senior leadersAdvanced Excel and financial analysis skills including the ability to concisely present information to senior leadership in a digestible formatAbility to work autonomously while delivering high-quality, client-ready work productsExcellent communication and written skills including very keen attention to detail and high proficiency in business writingAptitude to develop insights and recommendations to business problemsAbility to manage multiple tasks/requests, prioritize changing work demands, and learn quicklyAdvanced PowerPoint skillset and strong Excel skillset requiredFamiliarity with financial research tools (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc.)Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the United States, without company sponsorship.
