Position Summary Our Financial Planning & Analysis group is looking for an experienced FP&A Specialist to join the team. This position is a key role within the Finance group that will support various aspects of finance and accounting for the company. This role will serve as the Finance Business Partner for our G&A pillar, as well as provide ad hoc financial support across all R&D functions. The position requires a solid financial background combined with strong analytical skills. This is an excellent opportunity to further build one's finance skills by working with a high-performing, collaborative team while providing great exposure to all aspects of the Company's business.
Responsibilities Finance Business Partner for G&A FunctionsDrive business decisions through effective analysis and communication with department ownersBuild and maintain reporting and dashboards to track key metrics, proactively address problems and opportunitiesPlay a critical role in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reforecastOwn analyses of actual results versus plan and key trends impacting the businessGather, organize, and validate financial data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrityWork closely with Accounting, assisting in the booking of journal entries and supporting the month-end closeManage program time tracking systemPartner cross-functionally on ad-hoc projectsMinimum Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. MBA preferred3-5+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree and 2+ years of relevant experienceHigh aptitude in Excel ModelingAbility to present financial information to a non-financial audience, excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsDetail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environmentDemonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment and the flexibility to handle multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong organizational skills with the ability to collaborate and partner across teamsPreferred Qualifications Experience in Biopharma/Life ScienceOracle experienceCompetencies Collaborative – Openness, One TeamUndaunted – Fearless, Can-do attitudeResults Orientation – Delivering progress toward our mission.
