Description Summary: The Desk Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to all customers, members, guests and staff for Rivers Edge Adventure Golf and the Driving Range and the Highland Park Golf Learning Center. This position has responsibility for answering phones and on-site supervision of daily operations, including assistance with special events, parties and rentals, while upholding the Park District's standards in a professional and courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain a positive attitude and good personal hygiene and appearance. Provide excellent customer service to all customers, members, guests and staff, including answering questions about the Learning Center. Be familiar with standard scripts (greetings, procedures/protocols, responses, etc.). Be knowledgeable of Sunset Valley Golf Club's programs, services and fees as well as programs, lessons and events at the Highland Park Golf Learning Center. Perform cash handling duties and maintain accurate financial records, complete daily sales reports and bank deposits. Be familiar with the POS software. Maintain accurate and up to date information. Assist in Golf Shop inventory, maintenance and restocking. Receive and route incoming calls, perform routine office support functions and maintain appearance and cleanliness of facility. Assist with security of building. Assist in running special events, parties and rentals. Be familiar with other Park District programs and services and can accept registration using the Park District's software programs. Perform other Park District related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibility.

Qualifications Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required of three to six months of golf club, health club or other customer service experience.

Computer Skills: Previous experience with a POS system is strongly desired; at minimum, must have the ability to learn the POS system. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of PC computers and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
