POSITION SUMMARY:Front Desk Customer Service Representatives are responsible for the health, happiness and safety of our guests at Woofs 'n Whiskers. The Front Desk develops and maintains a positive work environment and culture through positive communication with clients and fellow teammates. The front desk is the face of Woofs 'n Whiskers and creates an environment of open communication and forges the way to a pet care partnership between Woofs and the clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Portraying a positive company image and engaging in professional and friendly communications with team members and clients. Actively listening to pet owners and team members' questions and concerns to build a positive work culture of support and teamwork and open two-way communication, assisting the team to care for the animals to the best of our abilities and our clients to become better-educated pet owners. Proactively engaging in the selling of our services, memberships and packages. Communicating our guests' needs through written, posted and oral instructions. Creating & maintaining daycare, boarding and scheduled services reservations. Creating and overseeing client files are kept up-to-dateCheck guests in and out including returning belongings and running charges. Maintaining all equipment, supplies and a clean work environment — ensuring a healthy and safe space for everyone (animals and people alike!). Following and performing all SOPs. Maintain Woofs 'n Whiskers Values. Performing other duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Weekend and holiday availability are mandatory (Front desk is closed on all major holidays, but requires availability surrounding the holiday dates). Ability to shift priorities, deal with a high-stress environment and multi-task. Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from management. Ability to write, read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals, Slack posts and End of Day Notes (EOD).
