**Full-Time Production Baker/ Bench Worker Wrights Farm**
Full-Time in N. Smithfield, RI - Entry Level **Position Summary:**
To ensure all bakery products are produced using Wrights Dairy Farm specifications and SOPs. Maintain quality and consistency of all products in regard to make-up procedures and portion controls. All procedures and actions are to be completed in accordance with safe food handling practices. Follow the direction of the shift leader on a daily basis in regard to product flow. Work in a timely manner to provide the oven attendant with ample product to keep the ovens full throughout the shift.
**The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:**
-Receives readymade doughs, batters, toppings and other ingredients from the mixing area to meet daily production needs.
-Deposits, spreads, and sprinkles various batters, fillings and toppings into or on specialty baked goods using portioning scoops, pastry bags, assorted measures and spatulas.
-Cut and weigh various doughs into uniform portions using knives, cutters, dividers and digital scales. Molds doughs into loaves or other shapes, places in or on pans for proofing and baking.
-Report any product quality/inconsistency related issues to the shift leader as needed.
-Coordinate with and follow the direction of the shift leader in regard to product flow for maximum staff productivity.
-Keep a clean and neat work area throughout the shift, with major cleaning/sanitizing of tables, equipment, shelves, pails, bins, at the end of the shift for the next.
-Restock needed materials for the next shift.
**Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)**
1. High School diploma or GED preferred but not required
2. Strong math skills.
3. One year professional baking/food service experience preferred
4. Baking or culinary courses
