Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time General Gastroenterologist n Norwalk, Connecticut. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long established teaching program that is growing and expanding general and advanced GI services. Our team includes six physicians and two advanced practitioners. There is opportunity for a faculty appointment. We perform procedures in a state-of-the-art brand new endoscopy suite. Our Gastroenterology Fellowship is a Yale University School of Medicine level II affiliated, three-year program leading to ABIM certification in Gastroenterology. Norwalk is located one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County next to Westchester County in New York. Generous $50,000 sign on bonus/retention package and relocation allowance are offered.
The ideal candidate should be board certified/eligible in Gastroenterology. New or recent graduates, including 2025 candidates are welcome to apply. Advanced endoscopy training is welcome. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as a relocation stipend.
Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year.
