Position: General Manager
Location: Puerto Rico
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 (commensurate with experience)

Are you a seasoned hospitality professional with the skills to manage luxury dining operations while floating 150 feet above the ground? Fly Dine Puerto Rico is searching for a
General Manager
who thrives in fast-paced environments, is a critical thinker, and can lead with minimal oversight. This role requires someone who's proactive, resourceful, and ready to deliver an extraordinary dining experience for our guests.
What You'll Be Doing:
Operational Leadership
: You'll be responsible for overseeing all daily operations, ensuring smooth execution from guest arrival to dining lift-off. Your ability to keep everything running like clockwork, while maintaining our sky-high service standards, is key to the role.
Team Management
: You'll lead a team of professionals across multiple departments (culinary, service, and safety teams), ensuring everyone is aligned and working cohesively to create an exceptional guest experience.
Problem Solving
: As a proactive problem solver, you'll anticipate and address any issues before they arise. You'll be the go-to person for quick thinking and creative solutions in a unique, high-pressure environment.
Autonomous Decision Making
: This is a role for someone who thrives on independence. You'll have the authority to make key decisions without constant oversight, taking charge of both day-to-day operations and larger strategic initiatives.
Guest Experience Focus
: Your primary goal is to deliver a memorable and seamless dining experience. Whether it's handling guest inquiries, addressing concerns, or going above and beyond, you'll ensure every guest leaves with a smile.
Safety First
: Safety is paramount at 150 feet. You'll collaborate with our safety team to maintain all safety protocols, ensuring every guest and team member feels secure and comfortable during the experience.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
: You'll work closely with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure all logistics (equipment, ingredients, and supplies) are handled efficiently and without hiccups.
Strategic Planning & Execution
: You'll not only manage day-to-day tasks but also think ahead. You'll develop and execute plans for marketing promotions, special events, and seasonal experiences, contributing to the overall growth and success of Fly Dine.
Financial Management & Budgeting:
Strong Financial Acumen
: You'll be responsible for managing the financial performance of Fly Dine, ensuring profitability while maintaining the highest service standards.
Budget Creation & Adherence
: You'll craft and manage budgets for all operational aspects, from labor costs to inventory management, and ensure adherence to these budgets without compromising on quality or guest experience.
Cost Control
: You'll regularly review financial reports and adjust strategies to improve cost efficiency, focusing on optimizing resources without sacrificing service excellence.
Revenue Management
: You'll monitor sales, analyze revenue trends, and implement strategies to maximize profitability through effective upselling, pricing adjustments, and cost management.
Who We're Looking For:
Self-Sufficient Leader
: You're an independent individual who doesn't require close supervision. You take initiative, make decisions confidently, and thrive in a role where you have full ownership of the operation.
Critical Thinker
: You possess the ability to analyze situations and make sound decisions quickly. You'll need to stay ahead of potential issues and solve problems creatively and efficiently.
Proactive Problem Solver
: You're always one step ahead, anticipating challenges and addressing them before they become issues. When things go off-script, you'll adapt quickly and keep everything on track.
Hospitality Expert
: You have extensive experience in hospitality or fine dining management, and you know how to create an exceptional guest experience. Previous experience in unique or high-stakes dining experiences is a plus.
Comfort with Heights
: Since the dining experience takes place 150 feet in the air, you must be comfortable working at heights and ensure that this doesn't affect your ability to manage the operation.
Team Builder
: You know how to inspire, develop, and lead a diverse team, creating a culture of excellence and hospitality.
Flexible & Adaptable
: Island life and aerial dining come with their own set of challenges. You'll need to be able to adapt to unexpected changes while maintaining a calm, collected demeanor.
