Description
Our client is hiring a
Finance Manager
to oversee the grants management and FEMA reimbursements process, as well as supervise a finance team. This role will be integral in guiding financial planning and decision-making processes related to grants and reimbursements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role will involve working closely with finance and engineering/ capital projects departments to ensure precise financial transactions and registry to facilitate strategic decision making.
Responsibilities:
Oversee financial management and accounting for grants and FEMA reimbursements, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Supervise and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Prepare and analyze financial reports related to grants and FEMA funding, providing insights and recommendations for efficiency and compliance.
Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decision-making and optimize grant management processes.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators for grant-related activities.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports for grants and reimbursements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.
Prepare and present executive-level reports to senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred.
8+ years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on grants and FEMA reimbursements.
Proven leadership experience and ability to manage and mentor a team.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Fully bilingual.
