FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Starting Wage Scale: $14.5/hour and up (depending on experience)

Grocery Associates are primarily responsible for presenting an appealing, clean, and fully stocked grocery department to optimize the customer experience through their time shopping.
RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Experience Exceed our customers' expectations for service and provide a welcoming environment for all people and all diverse backgrounds Model, provide, and ensure customers receive prompt, friendly, and courteaous services in a professional manner that demonstrates our cooperative advantage. Offer suggestions for purchases and ways to prepare products. Grocery Stock, displays, shelves, bins, coolers, and freezers fully without overcrowding; face items on shelves. Rotate stock accordign to established procedures. Pull short-date or low-quality items and dispose of them according to department guidelines. Dispose of damaged or spoiled goods promptly, according to department guidelines and properly maintain shrink records Unload deliveries and check-in orders. Rotate stock into storage. Maintain storage system in backroom. Assist with processing of special orders Ensure that department areas are in clean, orderly condition, meeting health department standards and items are fully stocked, faced, and in excellent condition for purchase. QUALIFICATIONS Language ability - comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Communicate effectively and respecfully in oral or written from to staff and customers of diverse backgrounds. Regular, predictable attendance. Customer service skills - ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations. Communicate responsibly. Respond promptly to requests for customer assistance. Quality of work - demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. Apply feedback to improve performance. Quality of work - work quickly and accurately wiht a sense of urgency.
