We have an exciting seasonal job opportunity as Guest Services at Sugar Creek Golf Course! Join our team and be part of an organization that values being community focused, providing customer service excellence, working with integrity, having fun, and cultivating belonging!

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Provide front line customer service to golfers regarding reservation confirmation, starting time status, and general golf course information. Also provide confirmation of prepayment receipt and/or collection of necessary fees for golf, food & beverage and merchandise sales.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:


Interact with golfers in a friendly, helpful manner including providing general golf course information, starting time status and important directions/locations around facility and golf course. Book daily reservations/tee times by phone or in person (walk-ons when permitted). Confirm/collect fees for greens fees, cart rentals, golf merchandise and food & beverage items. Enter transactions under proper P.O.S. sales item. Coordinate tee times in a timely and orderly manner by pairing up golfers in foursomes whenever possible. Track players and pace of play as groups finish 9 holes, by recording the 9-hole playing time on starter sheet. Maintain updated reservations throughout the day on the point of sale, and communicate any updates with the starter's reservation sheet. Keep Pro Shop, Front Counter, and common area clean (vacuum when necessary). Restock front coolers for beverages - soft drinks and beer. Ensure to communicate any low inventory for reorder of supplies, materials and equipment for the daily operation to supervisor. Become familiar with opening and closing procedures which may include unlocking and locking door sand utilizing alarm code daily. Oversee driving range operations (opening & closing time) in the absence of a manager on duty. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Some high school education with relevant experience Current Food Handler Certificate or ability to obtain Current BASSET certification or ability to obtain Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol WHEN YOU'LL WORK: Day and night shifts available, with availability to work weekends and holiday scheduling. Hours can vary between 12-18 hours per week. WHAT YOU'LL GET: The anticipated starting pay for this position is $14.25 per hour.
