This role is pivotal in the design and development of a clinical model that is dedicated to improving the lives of seniors, particularly those with polychronic chronic conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the staffing and hiring of the clinical team, establishing the clinical significance of the product and care delivery, and instituting clinical workflows to ensure a world-class patient experience. Collaboration with the Director of Product is essential to translate clinical requirements into product-based decisions, and the Head of Clinical Operations will lead the implementation of the clinical model, defining workflows, guidelines, and co-management protocols. Continuous feedback loops with the clinical team and delivery partners will be established to drive efficiency and effectiveness as the organization scales.
Applicants for this position should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in physician services or clinical operations, with a focus on behavioral health and/or geriatrics. A background in tech-enabled care delivery platforms and experience in managing operational teams for products or services that impact patient outcomes is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical processes related to virtual first delivery of behavioral health, the ability to manage complexity, and a proven track record of being action-oriented. Skills in optimizing work processes, strong collaboration, and a deep understanding of quality and regulatory guidelines in healthcare are also essential. The role demands a leader who can work with a cross-functional care team to deliver patient-centered care and who is adept at strategic prioritization for improvement and expansion.
