Our global marketing organization is looking for an exceptional leader to help shape the future of customer marketing at Atlassian.
From NASA to Rivian, Reddit to Mercedes-Benz, Atlassians 300,000 customers rely on our portfolio of products to unleash the potential of teams across their business. In the role of Head of Customer Marketing, youll lead a team that works to turn these customers into advocates, delivering both exceptional customer storytelling to support our business, and a sales reference program that delivers results to go-to-market teams.
You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders including product marketing, sales, communications and analyst relations to define strategy and build and oversee a pipeline of customers to carry it out. Youll be an exceptional storyteller, coming up with creative campaigns to highlight the impact of Atlassians products on our customers. You will measure and report the effectiveness of customer marketing programs, constantly making improvements as you go.

This is a leadership role with a great team, so a proven track record as a wonderful manager that delivers results is essential. Reporting to the Head of Communications, this role can be done remotely from anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities Lead and set strategy for a dedicated team of customer marketing and sales enablement professionals
Work across sales and marketing teams to understand priorities and build programs to support objectives and key results
Develop programs and processes for turning customers into advocates
Initiate and execute creative campaigns featuring customers to support communications and product marketing initiatives
Measure, measure, measure impact, pivoting as you go
Build relationships across the company to source ideas and strengthen results
Act as a key thought partner for cross-functional teams as they set go to market strategy
Be an inspiring leader for a growing team, focused on building rapport and career development
Qualifications:
Qualifications 12+ years of experience in marketing/customer marketing, including 2+ years leading a customer marketing program in a tech company
Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving company
Proven record delivering results for both sales reference programs and customer marketing teams
Extensive, hands on experience with customers, including events, marketing assets, sales reference programs
Compensation At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $209,000 - $278,600
Zone B: $188,100 - $250,800
Zone C: $173,500 - $231,300
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
