About the Role The Company is in search of a Head of Data Science for Monetization. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader in the field of data science, with a specific focus on driving the company's monetization strategy and premium product offerings. This role involves close collaboration with the Head of Revenue and managing a team of talented Data Scientists. The primary responsibilities include serving as a senior leader in a cross-functional team, addressing a variety of product and business challenges, and using data to enhance user experiences and increase revenue. The Head of Data Science will also be expected to design and lead data science initiatives, influence strategic decisions, and solve complex business problems.

Applicants for the Head of Data Science position should have a minimum of 8 years' of experience in data science and product analytics, with at least 4 years' in a leadership role. The role requires a proven track record in the consumer technology sector, proficiency in SQL for large datasets, expertise in designing and analyzing A/B tests, and a strong knowledge of driving subscription revenue growth. Experience in consumer marketplaces, a background in fast-paced startup environments, and excellent communication skills are also essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a focus on product development and will be expected to partner with the VP of Data to refine and expand the company's vision for data science.
