The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR plans that cater to the needs of a diverse academic community. This hands-on role involves fostering relationships with stakeholders, providing coaching and mentoring to managers, and overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, and organizational development. The Head of HR will also be tasked with managing a 12-member HR team, driving process and cultural changes, and ensuring the optimization of HRIS systems.
Applicants for the Head of Human Resources position at the company should hold a Master's degree or JD in a relevant field and have a minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience. Professional certification, such as SPHR or PHR, is preferred. The role requires a candidate who can demonstrate a track record of effectively managing HRIS systems, understanding relevant compliance regulations, and implementing strategies to enhance the HR infrastructure. Experience with change management and a consultative approach to driving cultural, process, and system changes is essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience with budget development and reporting and a strong proficiency in MS Office.
