The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a diverse workforce, including salaried and hourly employees with varying payroll cycles. Expertise in payroll systems, particularly ADP and Workday, is essential for the integration and optimization of these systems. The Head of Payroll will also be tasked with leading a small payroll team, ensuring compliance with all payroll regulations, and collaborating with HR, Finance, and the M&A team to support the company's growth and integration activities.

This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 7-10 years' of progressive payroll experience, at least 5 years' in a senior payroll role, and a strong background in processing large and complex payrolls. Candidates for the Head of Payroll position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation. Proficiency in ADP is required, and experience with Workday is highly preferred. The role demands a leader with strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. The Head of Payroll will also be expected to identify and implement best practices in payroll processing, develop automated processes, and support financial planning and forecasting related to payroll. Experience in building and scaling a payroll function is a plus, as is a background in system implementation and integration, particularly with Workday.
