North America currently is the highest growth market for MVTec, and to build upon that success we are looking for a Head of Sales (m/f/d). You will put MVTec's knowledge of machine vision applications in selected vertical markets and turn opportunities into customers. We are looking for an outgoing individual with demonstrated experience in a B2B environment in the area of Quincy / Boston - USA as a full-time. Your tasks: Achievement of MVTec sales targets for the US and Canada region. Acquisition of new customers and expansion of the position with existing accounts, as well as ensuring customer retention. Disciplinary management of the External Sales Team MVTec USA, including performance assessment, hiring, and employee development, in coordination with the Branch Manager and in accordance with existing processes and guidelines. Development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve MVTec USA's growth targets, in collaboration with the Branch Manager and Sales Director USA/Canada. Ensuring and implementing sales processes and sales reporting in accordance with the framework set by the headquarters in Germany and the local conditions. Assisting in the organization and execution of local events and trade shows. What you bring: At least 5 years of sales experience in the B2B sector. Work experience in the machine vision industry. Leadership experience in sales and a proven track record of personal sales success. Proven ability to independently generate leads and business opportunities for a company. Interest in and technical understanding of our software products. Enthusiasm for driving new initiatives with various stakeholders while mastering complex decision-making structures within the client organization. Excellent communication skills, customer orientation, and goal-oriented working style combined with strategic thinking and entrepreneurial action. Willingness to travel (50%). Completed degree. English as a native language.
