Job Overview: Graham Tech is seeking a committed Help Desk Technician to provide exceptional client support and technical assistance in our Puerto Rico location.
The role is pivotal in managing IT assets, supporting a variety of hardware and software issues, and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities: Assist clients by resolving complex asset management issues and linking them with configuration management databases.
Offer technical support for deskside assistance, video conferencing systems, installations, and operational tasks.
Collaborate with engineers and senior staff to efficiently handle technical problems.
Provide support for the setup, installation, and maintenance of IT equipment including desktops, laptops, switches, printers, PBXs, and more.
Execute hardware installation projects and ensure timely completion.
Address user inquiries, assess equipment requirements, and provide resolutions to intricate problems.
Handle IT asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, deployment, and disposal.
Manage inventory and ensure responsibility for all deployed IT systems.
Utilize a ticket management system (e.g., ServiceNow) for tracking and resolving desktop and IT issues.
Conduct remote support using tools such as BOMGAR.
Configure workstation network accounts, user profiles, and email setups, and troubleshoot related issues.
Support user account management and collaborate with senior experts for new installations and communication equipment setup.
Requirements: Experience in technical and deskside support.
Proficiency in using ticketing systems like ServiceNow and remote support tools such as BOMGAR.
Strong IT hardware/software knowledge and maintenance experience.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
