Histology Technician

Position Summary
Processes tissue samples (grossing (bx), processing, embedding, sectioning and staining slides) for histological diagnosis.Processes tissue samples by embedding, sectioning and staining slides for histological diagnosis.

Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Qualifications: Qualifications Education Associate's Degree in biological or chemical science and certification requirement specific in CLIA '88 to perform high complexity testing. Required and Bachelor's Degree in biological or chemical science and certification requirement specific in CLIA '88 to perform high complexity testing.
