Description PAY RATE: $20.11 PER HOUR (PAY NEGOTIABLE UPON EXPERIENCE) LOCATION: MARTIN, KY; Serving Floyd, Knott, South Magoffin and Surrounding Counties

Plans, coordinates and leads Home Repair Crews, volunteers and participants in the work activities of home repair and the construction of new homes for low-income families/individuals.
Essential Job Functions:
Leads and instructs volunteer crews of varying skill levels in repair projects and home construction. Connects participants with group members and facilitates a positive relationship with all involved in the project. Performs construction activities on participant homes not suitable for group work or that a group did not complete and ensures work is completed in a timely manner. Leads by example, working alongside volunteers in the performance of all tasks. 45%
Visits prospective sites, reviews and prioritizes extent and nature of repairs, provides an estimate of costs within budget, and ensures prospective participant is aware of and is in agreement agrees) with proposed repair plan. 30%
Practices and enforces safety in all aspects of the job, training all crew members and maintaining responsibility for safe practices on the worksite. 25%

Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent General Studies Required
18 Months Additional Training In related field Preferred
Years of Experience:
6 or more years of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience
Certifications and Licensure:
Posses a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required
CAP Driving Certification (or Ability to Obtain) Required
Medical Examiner's Certificate for towing/trailer (or ability to obtain) Required
Ability to pass the OSHA 10 hour safety course exam Required
EPA Certification for Lead Renovator (or ability to obtain) Required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk
Ability to crawl, kneel, and/or climb
Lift 80 lb from ground and carry 50 ft and place on shelf at 36 inches
Lift 45 lb and carry 50 ft with one hand
Climb 10 ft step ladder carrying 70 lb
Lift 50 lb from ground and place on a 100 inch shelf, may use step ladder if needed
Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance
Work in close spaces
Walk 100 ft on uneven ground
Have good visual acuity with corrective lenses
Have good hearing capabilities
