Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Supervisor to oversee the operations of our hospitality property. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of hotel management, with a strong focus on guest services and revenue management. This role requires a leader with excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Supervise and manage hotel staff, including front desk agents, housekeeping, and food and beverage servers.
- Provide exceptional guest services, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience at our hotel.
- Monitor and improve hotel operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure that our hotel is well-represented and that we are meeting our revenue goals.
- Manage the hotel's phone systems, including answering guest calls and ensuring that all staff members are trained on proper phone etiquette.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, ensuring that all staff members are treated fairly and that all guests feel welcome and valued.
Skills:
- Proven experience in hospitality management, with a focus on hotel management.
- Strong background in guest services and guest relations.
- Expertise in revenue management and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong supervisory and human resources skills.
- Proficiency with phone systems and excellent phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices.
- Experience with hospitality software and systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and foster a positive work culture.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
