Housekeeper

HOUSEKEEPERReporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Housekeeper is a part of the department that maintains the common areas of our clients residential buildings.This position has a 35-hour work week, onsite. This is a temporary position.ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Sweep, mop, wash, dust, and vacuum Maintain sidewalks, including sweeping, raking leaves, and shoveling snow Clean individual units when vacated or requested by work order Sort and package recyclables to comply with NYC regulations Set up and clean up for meetings and other events Perform other related duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Comparable work experience Experience operating of vacuum cleaner High School Diploma, GED Ability to stand for several hours during shift and to climb stairs in the event of an emergency Experience working with special needs populations a plus Basic knowledge of using a computer is a plus, but is not required
