From morning to night, each of our employees contributes to making live music at Ravinia extraordinary.We're seeking an energetic, reliable Housekeeper to help with the daily operation of the Park Operations Department.The Housekeeper reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor of the Ravinia Festival Association (Ravinia) and is responsible for performing custodial and janitorial duties as assigned.Duties and Responsibilities:Participate in daily cleaning and custodial servicesAssist the Housekeeping Supervisor in keeping accurate supply inventory.Operate basic janitorial equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.QualificationsKnowledge and Skills Required: Ability to work in a team and independentlyAbility to push/pull/ carry up to 50 lbs.Ability to operate basic janitorial equipmentAbility to stand/bend/reach/walk while working for extended periods of timeMust have reliable transportation to/from workAvailability that includes weekendsAbility to work on a team in a fast-paced, entertainment venuePrevious Housekeeping experience is a plusEducation and Experience:Experience in Housekeeping, Janitorial services, Custodial, commercial cleaning industry is a big plusBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusAdditional InformationReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.The Ravinia season runs from June through September.
