Housekeeper/Nanny

Job Title: Full-Time Housekeeper/Nanny Location: Summit, NJ Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM; shorter hours on Fridays Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour, based on experience Overview: A busy family in Summit, NJ is seeking a dedicated and flexible Housekeeper/Nanny to join their household. The family consists of four children: a 19-month-old, a 3-year-old, an almost 5-year-old, and an almost 11-year-old. While the older children are in school for most of the day, the youngest child is home with mom. The family is currently living in a temporary residence while their new home is being built next door, and they need someone who can assist with both housekeeping and occasional childcare. Responsibilities: General housekeeping duties, including cleaning, tidying, and laundry Helping with light meal preparation or cooking as needed Assisting with childcare, primarily caring for the 19-month-old when needed Supporting the stay-at-home mom by taking over with the baby during after-school activities with the older children Being proactive in household tasks, such as organizing and maintaining a clean environment Assisting with school drop-offs/pickups and driving the children to activities (if needed) Flexibility in helping with the children, including occasional supervision of the older ones when necessary Requirements: Prior experience as a housekeeper and/or nanny Must be comfortable and enjoy working with children Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work in a home that is undergoing temporary relocation Proactive, organized, and dependable Ability to take initiative and manage household tasks efficiently Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of $35 to $40 based on experience Consistent hours and a supportive family environment Opportunity to grow within the role during the 18-month temporary residence If you are a proactive, caring individual who enjoys a combination of housekeeping and childcare, we'd love to hear from you!
