The role:

The HR Business Partner is a key strategic partner for leadership and a trusted resource for Emery Jensen Distribution (EJD) team members. This role serves as a liaison between HR shared services and across the organization on all people-centric priorities including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, succession planning, engagement, retention, and learning and development. This position champions Emery Jensen's culture and core values, driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. This role will collaborate with HR team members throughout the enterprise to design, communicate and implement core HR systems and initiatives, taking lead ownership for these processes related to assigned to Emery Jensen's teams. The HR Business Partner will be enthusiastic about the employee experience, anticipate business needs, and takes the initiative to drive solutions in effective, value-added ways.

What you'll do: Partnerships and Alignment Collaborate with Director of HR & Marketing, peer HRBPs, and business function leaders to implement people priorities supporting the right workforce size, design, cost, and agility for the future Develop and maintain successful working relationships with assigned function leaders to influence and provide proactive coaching, consultation, and direction to management in areas of staffing, employee relations, policy administration, performance management, and overall organizational effectiveness Assess, recommend, and implement continual improvements to HR processes and strategies to support organizational goals Employee Relations and Engagement: Conduct employee relations investigations as required, and determine the best corrective action solution Serve as an advisor to leadership and employees on HR-related issues and concerns Work alongside people and culture enterprise partners, managers, and the leadership team to identify and implement solutions to foster a culture where employees feel valued, motivated, and committed to the success of EJD Performance and Succession Management: In close cooperation with the leadership, identify future resourcing needs, build succession plans, and proactively identify resourcing options Develop and implement performance management processes to proactively address performance and development needs Manage terminations for both exempt and non-exempt staff Recruitment and Retention: Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to execute the recruitment strategy Lead hiring process for all exempt and non-exempt requisitions for assigned functions Support the continued build out of new hire onboarding and orientation programs including new hire orientations and 30-60-90 check-ins Compliance and Communication Ensure consistent application and adherence to HR policies across all departments Partner with Marketing & Communications on internal communication and employer brand strategies Help coordinate internal trainings that will advance a culture of high-performance and inclusivity Metrics and Analytics: Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results in relation to goals Analyze data and trends and partner with broader HR team to make recommendations that can improve retention, internal mobility, and performance management Ensure employee data is accurate, effective, and standardized; partner with Corporate HRIS team as needed What you need to succeed: Minimum 5 years relevant experience In-depth knowledge of the HR function and progressive approach to HR practices Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization Strong project management skills, communicating changes and project progress Proven presentation and training experience Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address business issues Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environment #LI-AC1

$72900 - $91300
