Title: HR Representative Jr. - 2 Openings Location: Round Lake, IL Duration: 5 Months (Possibility for extension) This is an Onsite position, person should be flexible to move to other buildings and departments. Shift- hours can be flexible, who can work between 7-5 Description: Summary This position will be a key player in driving employee engagement. This role is responsible for payroll, leaves administration, supporting employee relations, and interpreting HR policiesperson will work for payroll and will provide training for that as well, he or she can manage and work with outside vendors, they need to support employee relations, whether it is client or candidate, handle employee relation issues, and speak to an employee about all kinds of thing, the issue with client and systems or about anything that may come out, handle time to time responsibilities. Manager is looking for someone who has experience with face to face employee relations management, not just corporate experience. Weekly Payroll and Compensation Review, correct, and approve weekly payroll. Support employees and managers with payroll questions and issues. Support Annual Compensation Review process; conduct bi-annual compensation review
Employee Relations Support employee investigations and resolutions to issues Partner with managers and complete disciplinary actions Primary HR contact for Penicillin leaders and employees Coordinate leave of absences and accommodation requests
Employee Engagement Proactively communicate with employees and managers regarding HR policies, practices, and key HR programs Lead all aspects of exit survey interviews and identify ways to improve employee listening strategies Support new employee orientation. Collect I9 documentations and process Workday Additional Responsibilities Run monthly and ad hoc reports for site leaders Process Workday tasks. Lead title standardization project Be part of interview panels Additional duties as assigned.

1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a focus on payroll, benefits, or HR administration
Industry experience would be a plus but no preference. (Manufacturing).
Proficient in HRIS systems and payroll software.
Payroll experience is a must.
Strong written and verbal communications
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities
Flexibility to meet employee needs who work in a 5-day, 3-shift operation
Navigate the organization to find right solution and know when to raise issues to others for guidance
Take initiative with little direction
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Advanced Excel preferred)
