About the Role
The HR Specialist at BRIGS will play a key role in supporting our human resources functions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process in managing our employees' journey. The HR Specialist will handle various tasks, from interview coordination to managing performance review cycles and payroll administration.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Support recruitment interviews and assessments by elevating candidates' experience, skills, and competencies to ensure alignment with job requirements. Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process. Assist in drafting offers to candidates with leadership guidance. Delegate and manage onboarding tasks for new hires by coordinating with IT, Office Operations, and the hiring manager. Provide clear communication and address new hire inquiries before their start date. Administer performance review cycles, including task assignments and completion reminders. Handle payroll processes, advise on payroll setup, manage benefit enrollment, oversee open enrollment, and ensure correct tax deduction setup, reimbursements, and allowances. Update employee records in the HRIS, including position and compensation changes and document management. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in human resources or a related field. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of HR processes and best practices Proficiency in using HRIS systems and payroll software preferably Paylocity.
Salary
$55,000 - $60,000
