Overview Lutron is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Human Resources Business Partner out of our engineering office in Boston, MA. In this role, you will apply your ability to work effectively in a matrix organizational structure to support employees in both our Boston and Philadelphia engineering offices. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving the success of our organization through effective HR programs and initiatives. You will partner with both Engineering and Human Resources leadership to execute HR programs and put plans in place that will support both our current and future employee needs.
Responsibilities Collaborate with our Engineering and Human Resources leadership teams to anticipate organizational needs and execute HR programs.Develop and implement coverage plans and staffing strategies to ensure optimal team composition and resource allocation.Assist in the attraction and selection of top talent.Drive innovative retention strategies to keep top-tier engineering talent in the organization.Oversee the seamless execution of onboarding processes for new engineers, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to engineering management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions as necessary.Champion the development of our talent, fostering an environment that enables individuals to reach their full potential.Partner closely with engineering leaders to ensure the effective execution of people programs, aligning with business objectives and organizational culture.Collaborate with engineering leadership to identify and prioritize people initiatives, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness.Stay aligned to Lutron's culture and values:Be passionate.Be flexible and adaptable to changing markets.Be an innovative thinker.Be employee focused.Be ethical. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree such as an MBA preferred.Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned.7+ years of progressive HR experience.HR certification preferred (SPHR/SHRM-SCP).Proven understanding of HR principles, practices and employment laws.Knowledge of Massachusetts employment law.Ability to exercise sound judgement in complex situations with multiple stakeholders.Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, primarily to Lutron Pennsylvania facilities.Lutron Electronics' position as the worldwide leader in innovative lighting control and shading solutions has enabled consistent, annual growth.
