JOB SUMMARY: The HR Generalist has an essential role of maintaining records, create and update employee profile in HRIS, and carrying out clerical functions to support human resources procedures and policies. Under direct supervision, their job description entails performing a variety of specialized duties requiring knowledge of the human resources operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Supports human resources processes by receiving and managing employees' requests and inquiries.
Creates employee' profile information in the human resources information system.
Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.
Prepares employment verifications.
Review new hire documentation and make sure the same complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
Digitalize new employees' documents and creates digital file.
Registers employee deductions, salary changes, new benefits in the employee's profile.
Coordinates all employee activities per region.
Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data.
Provides administrative support by entering, formatting, and printing information.
Answers the telephone and relays messages to HR team members.
Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
Assist with terminations document's process.
Provides support to all HR related areas in the department.
Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practice.
Manage and coordination of benefits offered to employees (Medical plan, Life Insurance, 401K retirement plan).
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related.
Minimum of (2) two years of experience in the Human Resources Department (preferred).
Minimun of (1) one year in Performance evaluations and Payroll process.
Bilingual Spanish/English is a must.
