Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for an Information Security Analyst - II to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform information security risk assessments, security improvement processes, and administration of security-related software.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Your Priorities Administers, maintains, and supports anti-virus solutions, host-based IPS, and security-related software necessary to protect the company IT infrastructure from external or internal threats. Investigates, evaluates, and reports suspicious activity and actual or potential security violations. Performs vulnerability scans, and takes appropriate action to resolve identified vulnerabilities. Tests and implements new security solutions and enhancements to existing security solutions. Promotes activities to promote IT security education and awareness throughout the company. Participates in capital and expense budget planning. Requirements Your Background Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Management or Technology, or related discipline, plus 2 - 4 years of professional experience in IT in the role of a Security Analyst in a technical environment.
Experience: Experience in two or more of the following (or equivalent): Symantec Endpoint protection Syslog Lotus Domino Suite of Products Microsoft WSUS RADIUS Experience with three of the following is preferred: Wireless Networking Scripting Languages Windows/Linux Server Administration VPNs Network Analyzers IDS/IPS Firewalls Penetration Testing At North American Lighting Team Member Benefits
