We are seeking an experienced IT Manager with a strong background in accounting systems and DEACOM ERP or Oracle Microsoft NetSuite implementation and management. The ideal candidate will oversee the IT department's daily operations, manage IT projects, and ensure the integrity and security of the organization's data and IT infrastructure. This role involves collaborating closely with the accounting team to optimize ERP functionalities that support business operations and financial reporting.
Location: Hybrid, Irwindale, CA or Greenwood, IN.
Key Responsibilities: IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and scalability.Manage IT support services, including help desk operations, troubleshooting, and user support for all technology-related issues.Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance operational efficiency and data management. DEACOM ERP Management: Serve as the primary administrator for DEACOM ERP, including installation, updates, and maintenance.Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure effective use of DEACOM ERP to streamline financial processes and reporting.Manage the configuration of DEACOM ERP modules to ensure alignment with business requirements and regulatory compliance.Design and conduct training sessions for end-users to leverage DEACOM's capabilities effectively. Project Management: Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects related to system upgrades, software implementations, and ERP enhancements.Develop project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.Communicate project status, impact, and change management to stakeholders, including senior management. Data Security and Compliance: Ensure the security of the organization's data by implementing and monitoring compliance with data protection policies and best practices.Regularly assess security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and execute necessary incident response plans.Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting data protection and IT compliance within the industry. Collaboration with Accounting: Work closely with the accounting and finance teams to understand their IT needs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize software usage.Develop reports and dashboards within DEACOM ERP to support financial analysis and decision-making.Analyze accounting workflows and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and automation. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external IT service providers, software vendors, and consultants.Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure favorable terms and compliance with business needs.Evaluate vendor performance and service delivery, addressing any issues that arise. Team Leadership: Lead and develop the IT team, ensuring proper training, performance management, and career development opportunities.Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge-sharing and innovation within the IT department.Act as a mentor, providing guidance and support to team members in their professional growth. Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget by forecasting technology-related expenses and investment needs.Monitor IT expenditures to ensure alignment with the budget and explore ways to maximize the cost-effectiveness of IT solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field; a master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is preferred.Minimum of 5 to 10 years' experience in IT management with specific expertise in accounting systems and DEACOM ERP or Oracle Microsoft NetSuite.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with familiarity with financial reporting requirements.Proven experience managing IT projects, including software implementations and infrastructure upgrades.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an aptitude for building relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Knowledge of data security practices and compliance requirements related to IT and accounting. Working Conditions: Hybrid, Irwindale, CA or Greenwood, IN. Flexibility to work outside standard hours may be required for project deadlines or system upgrades.
