This goal will be accomplished through the commercialization of the fluoride-salt-cooled, high-temperature reactor (FHR) that can be deployed with robust safety, affordable costs, and flexible operation to accommodate the expansion of variable renewables.Job Summary Kairos Power is seeking a highly motivated Instrumentation and Controls Engineer with mechatronics experience to work with a team who will be responsible for designing, installing, programming, testing and troubleshooting automation and controls for mechanical handling systems at Kairos Power. This position offers a high level of engagement, requiring close collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has cross-discipline competence, with an understanding of both mechanical design and electrical design for system integration as well as a comprehensive understanding of the interdependencies between software and hardware. Adaptability and a quick learning ability are key traits, as the project and requirements may evolve rapidly.
