Job Summary:
The ideal candidate is one who thrives working in a goal-oriented environment and is passionate about ensuring that excellent healthcare services are provided to the children and families we serve.
This role is a dual role where part of the week will be spent in person in various parts of NYC reviewing our services with referral sources/attending community events. The other part of the week will be spent in office following up with parents/guardians regarding referrals made to our program. Note when in office will be responsible for 8:30am-9:30am reception coverage as well as lunch/break coverage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for outreaching and targeting assigned areas
+ Visiting targeted referrals sources (3 days in the field) and meeting monthly goals
+ Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources (in person and via phone/email/fax)
+ Conducting presentations, workshops, attending community meetings, and attending health fairs as they arise
+ Responsible for weekly updates of visits and ensure online database is updated timely.
+ Conduct continuous phone follow-ups for services that were previously assigned and are not yet approved
+ Record and confirm child and family information during the initial referral process
+ Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure quality of services and work
+ For days in office, will be responsible for reception coverage
+ Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications and Other Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree required
+ EI/CPSE experience preferred
+ Bilingual Spanish required (verbal/written)
+ Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as needed.
+ Looking for an extremely organized individual who has great multitasking abilities under time-constraint.
+ Professional attitude and advanced interpersonal skills-is a great rapport builder.
+ Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information required.
+ Must be able to multi-task under time constraints
+ Possesses strong typing skills
+ Is resilient and has a can-do attitude
+ Knowledge in Microsoft Office-particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
Physical Requirements:
+ Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
+ Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as outreach materials.
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the workday working on a computer/electronic device.
+ The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
+ The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

+ Compensation: Full-time hourly non-exempt $23-25 per hour
+ Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Must Be Willing To Work Overtime As Needed. This position is in office.
