RESPONSIBILITIES: Verifies Medicaid, Medicare, & Commercial coverage for prospective clients. Contacts parent/guardian to explain services offered. Works with Intake Coordinator to initiate the assessment process for interested clients. Scheduling appointments with multiple providers. Data Entry into Microsoft Access Database and eCR. Filing referrals as needed. Electronically sending consents to clients. Taking referrals over the phone from referral sources interested in services. Reports on referral volume taken from database. Extensive phone usage with a positive attitude and smile. Presents in a professional manner in the community, in person, on telephone and in written communication including times of extreme stress and when others are upset. Works effectively with culturally diverse groups and individuals experiencing an exacerbation of either psychiatric, substance use and/or medical symptoms, as well as experiencing a stressful situation. Candidate Requirements: Graduation with a high School diploma or equivalent GED; must have administrative skills with filing and computer experience. Must have experience verifying Medicaid, Medicare, & Commercial insurance. Minimum of 1-year data entry experience; preferably in a healthcare setting. Strong organizational and time management skills. Computer literate with proficiency to Internet, online applications and email. Bilingual a plus.
