Job Description: SUMMARY
Interns will work with their supervisors and othermembers of the Institute and Student Affairs personnel to conduct peer-to-peeroutreach. They will staff tables at student events, serve as speakers instudent club meetings, and work to extend the reach of the "Needs Met?"marketing campaign. By working closely with social workers, campus-based foodpantries, and the Student Life offices to promote these services, the internswill have the opportunity to increase their skills in communication, teamwork,and leadership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Preparing displays and materials for use at outreach eventsStaffing information tables at student or community events and interacting with attendees to these events to extend the reach of the programAssisting with student focus groups and surveys, and speaking/presenting to student clubsInterviewing students about their experiences with college support services to ensure alignment of services to meet the student's needsDevelop competencies in communication, equity and inclusion and teamworkPerforms other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
