IR Techs are responsible for controlling the technology devices that reveal the interior of the human body to support physicians and healthcare professionals in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.

Primary responsibilities include setting up and operating equipment needed for minimally invasive procedures.

Job Requirements:

Education: Associates/Diploma

Experience: 2 years

Requirements: COVID vaccination, IR Tech exp.

License/Certification: IR Tech Certified, BLS

Client IR staff technologists collaborate with a team of nurses, advanced practice providers, attending physicians, residents, and tech assistants to provide a cutting edge multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.

Client IR technologists cover clinical areas across Client including IR, CT-guided procedures, Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Hybrid procedures, Endovascular Neurosurgery, and Endoscopic interventions.

The IR Technologist supports diagnostic and interventional procedures including and not limited to angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsy. Required Education/Certification: Candidates must be a graduate of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology ARRT certification Valid Mass. State Radiography License BLS certification

Certification: Basic Life Support
