We are looking for a self-motivated problem solver of high integrity to join our growing firm as an Investment Analyst. This role reports to the Chief Investment Officer and works closely with Investment Advisors on client teams.
ResponsibilitiesThe essential duties of the Investment Analyst include, and are not limited to:
Assist Investment Advisor in designing personalized asset allocation strategyReview & develop rebalancing and tax loss harvesting recommendations with the Investment AdvisorIdentify potential fee savingsGenerate client deliverables, such as ad hoc investment exhibits outside of the core investment reports produced by Client OperationsCommunicating (both verbally and in writing) with external clients, internal client teams, and third-party affiliates regarding investment related mattersAssist Investment Advisor in answering client questions pertaining to investmentsAd hoc projects as assignedDesired Skills and ExperienceStrong analytical, organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleaguesDetail-oriented, with a focus on delivering top-notch client serviceIntellectual curiosity and the drive to find "the" answer not an answerMinimum 1-2 years' prior experience in investments or financial servicesSeries 65 is a requirement of the job and is financially supported, as needed, by the firmProficiency in MS Office with a demonstrated aptitude for mathematics and spreadsheets is necessaryExperience with FactSet, Addepar, Python and Salesforce a plusProgress toward CFA/CFP is a plusCompany DescriptionLake Street Advisors has been serving high-wealth entrepreneurs and executives since 2003.
