As the Investment Counselor you'll be partnering with Relationship Managers to offer appropriate investment solutions to clients and attracting/enhancing client relationships and profitability.
As our Investment Counselor you will:
Assess client needs Develop a comprehensive investment strategy Coordinate sales and execution against that strategy Monitor performance and appropriateness of the client's overall investment portfolio Build trust with clients and your team in these interactions by learning new concepts and researching information in real-time to provide creative solutions For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $266,300.00 and $399,500.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements
Youll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
5 years of experience with proven track record in investment advisory; portfolio management, brokerage, or institutional sales Extensive knowledge of private banking business (onshore and offshore), and competitive and regulatory environment BS/BA degree in Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience Series 7 and 66 Licenses required In compliance with applicable laws, HSBC is committed to employing only those who are authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. as HSBC will not engage in immigration sponsorship for this position.
