Unit description:
In this position you will be responsible for establishing standards, setting direction, and managing activities for the global supply chain team.
This includes providing overall direction for sales and operations planning (S&OP), production planning, logistics, inland and marine transportation, trade compliance and Data & Analytics.
This position is also responsible for overseeing the quality management of the division.
What will your responsibilities be? Act as a member in IP management.Lead the Global Supply Chain (SC) organization strategy and execution, set goals and KPIs and track performance.Achieve constant logistics cost savings both via strategic optimization & improved real-time logistics coordination.Work with the division management across the world to optimize the global network.Work diligently to improve logistics quality standards and service levels.Develop and implement key business processes and KPIs associated with the sales and operations planning process (S&OP). This includes demand planning, production planning and raw material planning for strategic raw materials.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the international supply market, and incorporate this into the relevant business stakeholders.Work with commercial teams to optimize service levels, inventories, operating costs and efficiencies and working capital.Oversee and ensure the quality standards of the division's products and maintain high standards and continuous improvement.What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years Supply Chain experience (chemical operations or related industry preferred).
- 4-6 years' experience in a management position.
- Proven record and experience in developing and enhancing business processes and systems to drive business results and improvements.
- Negotiation skills.
- Interpersonal and service orientation skills.
- Strong communication skills, delivers effective presentations, shares information and ideas well and has good listening skills.
- Decision making and ability to manage through complexity.
- Ability to manage effectively in a matrix organization.
