IT Asset Specialist Intro:
We are seeking an Intermediate IT Asset Specialist for our client in San Francisco. This role involves managing the lifecycle of IT assets - purchasing, managing, tracking, and deploying hardware with a commitment to the organization and efficient processes. This is a 6-month contract with potential for hire based in San Francisco, California.
IT Asset Specialist Job Details:
The IT Asset Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the impeccable organization of our IT stockroom, managing the procurement process, and ensuring timely delivery of hardware for various requirements including onboarding, offboarding, and break/fix support. The role extends to liaising with the People Operations team regarding purchase requests and deployment timelines, tracking warranties and EOL hardware, and assisting in the entire IT procurement lifecycle. This position requires a strong grasp of inventory management and a knack for building positive relationships to ensure the smooth delivery of IT hardware to our workforce.
IT Asset Specialist Mandatory Skills:
To succeed in this role, applicants must bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in professional IT Support, including experience with IT procurement and ITAM platforms. Previous experience in inventory/loss prevention is required, as well as experience with maintaining IT stockrooms. Technical knowledge of modern Windows OS is also a must.
IT Asset Specialist Desired Skills:
