JOB DIMENSIONS
The IT supervisor guarantees the operations of the computer science equipment and telecommunications rendering particular attention to the security aspects. Is in charge of planning, organizing, and managing the operation of the Information Technology Department. The dimension of hardware and software is added support to the users.
ACTIVITIES
Directing activities to select and install major information technology facilities.
Directing the integration of IT operations, computer room, computer hardware, operating systems, communications, software applications, and data processing.
Establishing priorities for systems developments, maintenance, and operations.
Controlling the security aspects of information technology systems.
Maintain contact with our IT vendors.
Review and approve the invoices related to the IT department.
Report the entire security incident to the Head Quarter, to improve our system.
Quote the best IT equipment for the company based on the company recommendations.
Maintain all the IT equipment in the best and operationally possible.
Conducts and resolves all IT problems.
Take care of with promptitude all the calls or requests made by the users.
Explain to the user the best utilizations of the system.
Create the user profile of all users according to the tasks and duties.
Attend all related SAP applications, giving support to the Key Users.
Create and maintain all of the access of the users to the different Servers and Applications.
Apply the support packages needed to be requested by the company Group.
Develop, implement, and maintain the strategy of backup according to the specifications of the company.
Make backup restore as a standard procedure to validate if the backup process is functioning as expected.
Responsible for IT Security being the RSCL-I for the affiliate.
Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running.
Among other tasks as assigned by management.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field. A Master's Degree is strongly recommended.
6+ years of experience holding a similar position with a similar job scope.
Possess proven supervision and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security.
Capacity to prioritize tasks, and ability to adapt easily to changing conditions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Possess computer skills and experience with MS Office package, SAP, among other related software.
Capable to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Pay: $67,500.00 - $75,000.00 per year
