Scope of Responsibilities: The IT Procurement Administrator will manage all IT procurement, including hardware, software, and other assets. This person will also manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Essential Duties Manage daily IT hardware/software request and issue Purchase Orders as needed. Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships to secure optimal terms and pricing. Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contracts, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to quality standards. Develop and implement effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce stockouts or overstocks. Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain process and propose and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Build new relationships with key Technology vendors and follows required sourcing policies and procedures. Manage existing vendor partnerships to ensure products and services are provided with competitive pricing and in a timely manner. Ability to manage time effectively in a high paced dynamic environment and capable of prioritizing workload to meet scheduling demands and timelines. Streamline processes for order processing, procurement, and demand fulfillment to increase productivity and meet customer expectations. Ability to identify, analyze and recommend alternative solutions to successfully meet business priorities or streamline processes. Additional duties as assigned Position Requirements: Bachelors degree or H.S. diploma with 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree required 2+ years experience in Procurement. Experience in technology purchasing. Experience with vendor management. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with time and materials / recurring invoicing. Experience with Software Licensing, Subscriptions, M+S Agreements.
