HOW A HELP DESK TECHNICIAN II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Provides technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BA/BS
Required Experience: 7+ years of related experience

DESCRIPTION

Provides telephone technical support to employees regarding technical aspects of assigned products.

Answers questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization and usage of assigned products.

Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct common failures.

Maintains appropriate licenses, training and/or certifications, as needed; researches and determines applicability of new/emerging certification programs; may recommend applicable certifications for lower-level team members.

Has a deep understanding of how teams integrate and coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve program objectives. In-depth understanding of how own technical specialism and related disciplines are applied in the context of specific DOD, Agency and/or industry standards and requirements.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $51.00 - $69.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
