Job Title: Janitor Job Description
Pay: $16.00/HR
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Typical Day:
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming of hallways, stairs, and office space.
- Emptying wastebaskets and garbage containers.
- Waxing and polishing floors.
- Cleaning rugs and carpets.
- Dusting furniture.
- Light washing of walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Cleaning of bathrooms.
- Replacing bathroom supplies.
- Cleaning kitchen areas.
- Transporting trash and waste to disposal area.
- Emptying bins and transporting recyclable aluminum cans to storage area.
- Moving furniture when required.
- Repairing and performing regular maintenance of minor lighting (i.e., changing light bulbs) and plumbing.
- Notifying Housekeeping Lead when cleaning supplies are low; notifying Facilities Supervisor when major repairs or additions to heating and ventilating equipment are needed.
- Abiding by all Safety, Health, and Company rules, including usage of appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

This is a fully on-site position in Painesville, Ohio.
