As a Seasonal Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales, and ensuring that our store runs smoothly. Duties
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions, including cash register operations.
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by stocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
Utilize basic math skills to handle cash transactions and provide change accurately.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Support sales initiatives by promoting products and upselling when appropriate.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
Experience
Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales reporting is a plus.
Ability to operate a cash register and handle financial transactions accurately.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Experience in a grocery store environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
